The team returned to Plover excited for the race day. The truck was quick in practice, and it showed in qualifying, timing in 3rd. In the heat, Kyle was able to manuever through traffic and get to the front to capture his 2nd heat win of the year. Similar to that of the heat race, Kyle picked his way to the front and held on after a late race restart to pick up the team's first feature win of 2008! It was a good points day for the team, moving from 8th to 4th. The next away race is at Slinger on Sunday, June 1st. Hopefully the momentum will carry on to the World's Fastest Quarter Mile!

The WIR Opener had ups and downs for the #02 truck. Kyle was able to qualify 4th, and also finished 4th in the heat after being boxed in for over half the race. The feature looked like it could have been the team's first feature at WIR since 2006, before contact with another truck caused Kyle's chain to come off while battling for 2nd. This mishap caused the #02 to finish 14th in feature, and start the year off 10th in points.

5-16-08 The first date on the Sport Truck schedule was at Plover this year. After experiencing motor troubles in practice, the team had to change the motor twice since the first backup also had a problem. The truck missed qualifying, but was ready just in time for the heat. Kyle started in back of the first heat and was able to win the first race of the year in the truck. He also had to start in the back of the feature and made his way up to 4th before the motor flattened out. Kyle was able to hold on to finish 6th. The team left Plover 8th in points going into the Memorial Day race.
