 After practice rained out the weekend of April 12th, the team took the late model to Golden Sands Speedway for Kyle to drive for the first time this weekend. Saturday was a good day to learn because not many people were there, allowing Kyle to get plenty of seat time. He caught the hang of it really quick and was able to gain valuable experience throughout the day. Sunday was a bit different as many people came out to test their cars also. The first time the 02 saw the track was a bit nerveracking. Up to 12 cars were on the the track and Kyle got hung dry. He did hold his own on the outside though, and once again gained great experience. After making a few changes, the team will decide where the car will be run next.
